K-Pop: A20 LITE estreia direto em 1º lugar na parada Melon

Apenas um dia após sua estreia oficial, o grupo novato A2O LITE alcançou o 1º lugar na parada Melon TOP100 com o single de estreia “NEON”. O feito marca um dos desempenhos mais rápidos de um grupo rookie no topo do principal gráfico de streaming de música da Coreia do Sul.

A faixa chamou a atenção do público ouvinte de K-Pop por sua sonoridade nostálgica. A canção gerou comparações diretas com a estética clássica da SM Entertainment historicamente associada ao produtor Lee Soo-man.

O A2O LITE é formado por nove integrantes: Young, Oa, Ayune, Aijing, Himeki, Rada, Xili, Vora e Merci. O grupo reúne talentos da Coreia do Sul, China, Japão, Tailândia e Estados Unidos. Todas elas têm entre 13 e 18 anos.

Como foi o cronograma de lançamento e a sonoridade de “NEON”?

O videoclipe de “NEON” foi pré-lançado no dia 12 de outubro, às 21h30 (horário de Seul – KST), antecedendo o lançamento oficial do single, em 13 de outubro.

Musicalmente, a faixa representa a identidade do chamado “Zalpha Pop”, conceito defendido pelo A2O LITE. A estrutura sonora é guiada por uma linha de baixo marcante e batidas intensas, destacando-se pelo refrão contínuo com o verso “Neon and beyond”.
